At its meeting on April 30, 2020, the Government of the Republic of Armenia approved the 15th measure aimed at neutralizing economic consequences of coronavirus in order to create temporary jobs in the agricultural sector by solving environmental problems.
Within the framework of the event, "ArmForest" SNCO, "Wildlife and Cultural Heritage Preservation Foundation" and "ATP" Charitable Foundation will organize the establishment of riverbank forest protection zones in the highlands of Armenia.
The beneficiaries of the event are the citizens of the Republic of Armenia or stateless persons who will take part in the mentioned works. The total cost of the works is about 200 million AMD.
At the government sitting, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that temporary work will be created for about 1000 citizens.
