On March 21, 2026, “Reserve Park Complex” SNCO of RA Environment Ministry marked the International Day of Forests together with a group of school and university students.
The SNCO organized “ECO-EXPLORATION” educational event-competition (2nd edition), which brought together students from Anton Kochinyan Agricultural College of Armenian National Agrarian University, Armenian State Pedagogical University, Kotayk Regional State College, as well as pupils from Voghjaberd Secondary School of Kotayk Region.
The competition jury included specialists from “Reserve Park Complex” SNCO, representatives from Biodiversity and Policy Department of the Ministry of Environment, and “EcoLur” Informational NGO.
Participants presented videos on topics such as the importance of forests, greenwashing, the impact of waste on the environment, and environmental education. They responded to questions from the jury and received new insights and recommendations on their topics.
The winning entry was the project by Voghjaberd Secondary School titled “Impact of Waste Accumulation on Formation of Public Behavior.”
All participants were awarded certificates of appreciation for their active participation and initiative. The most distinguished and active participants received incentive prizes.
