Gosh community agrees to bear mutual responsibility for the forest located in the administrative territories of the community, if the community completely participates in forest management processes. This brave announcement was made by a Gosh community activist on “Gosh” webpage of EcoLur Blog. Gosh webpage has recently been added to the hotlines of EcoLur Blog and the local activist will present, the demand, concerns and offers of Gosh residents. “Gosh community insists it must take part in determining forest felling locations and certain funds must be allotted to the community budget from the conducted felling,” the writer says.

Gosh community residents are very worries that “Dilijan” National Park is also conducting felling in their administrative territory, nevertheless, not even a penny is allotted to the community budget. According to them, it would be fair, if “Dilijan” National Park and Nature Protection Ministry financially supported the community when using the administrative territory of Gosh, as being located next to the National Park restricts the community activities in the forest.
