On 8 June, the executive adopted a resolution on mining, which will help to make the information related to mining more open and available for the public.
In their reports, soil managers will submit information about production, environmental fees, soil management fees, allocations from the environmental protection money of the companies, the performance of the company obligations related to the socio-economic development of communities set out in mining agreements etc. According to the resolution, the public reports of the soil managers will be available through the electronic system of the EITI - reports.eiti.am.
