Examinations will be conducted in Teghout, Sotq, Amulsar, Qajaran and Mghart mines, as it was stated Sergey Bagratyan at the sitting on November 25, Chairman of the Investigative Committee on Investigating Lawfulness, Justification and Reliability of the Financial and Other Reports Submitted to the Executive Power Bodies within the Investment Programs of RA National Assembly Mining Metal Industry. The prosecutor's office has reported that there are criminal cases filed against the two mines. It was noted that the 27 companies operating the mine have licenses whose terms expire from 2025-2045. It has been emphasized that none of the mines in active phase of operation pays income tax, that is, it does not work for profit. It was suggested to study the investment plans, volumes, goals of these organizations. The importance of providing information on the real owners of mines, volumes of ore export, number of employees of the given organization, average salaries and other issues was highlighted. It was also suggested to study the privatization deals and signed contracts.
