The miners at Akhtala Ore Processing Combine (OPC) have stopped the strike for several days. A number of social demands raised by the strikers were accepted by Akhtala OPC administration.
EcoLur has learned that this morning, as a result of negotiations between the strike participants and the administration of the plant, the latter accepted the demand for a pay rise. At the same time, the administration of the plant has promised that other requirements will be fulfilled in the near future. As a result, the miners decided to stop the strike.
Reminder: the miners had raised requirements in terms of salary increase, required uniforms, nutrition improvement and other social requirements.
