EcoLur continues to present declarations on the real owners of the companies operating the metal mines in Armenia, which were published within the framework of EITI on the website of State Register Agency of Legal Entities of RA Justice Ministry.
In this publication, we will cover the declaration submitted by Concern LLC developing Mghart gold mine in Lori Region.
Multi Group Concern LLC was registered on February 26, 1998. The statement revealed three real owners interconnected with each other, two of whom jointly own the entire package of the company's shares.
The first real owner is a person with political influence. We are talking about Gagik Tsarukyan, an Armenian businessman, President of “Prosperous Armenia” party, deputy at RA National Assembly.
He owns 65.83% of the company shares, which were acquired by the businessman and MP on November 5, 2002. Gagik Tsarukyan has a direct participation in the company, with interconnected natural person or persons. According to the declaration, he receives at least 15% of the company annual income and is authorized to appoint or dismiss the people involved in the company management.
The second real owner is Gagik Tsarukyan's cousin, Samvel Tsarukyan. The latter acquired 34.17% of the company shares on May 23, 2018. He has a direct participation in this company, with interconnected natural person or persons.
The third real owner is Sedrak Arustamyan, General Director of MultiGroup Concern LLC. Intermediate companies do not act in this case.
