"Nazik" tailings dump owned by "Akhtala Mining and Processing Combine" CJSC, which was recultivated 10 years ago, will be recultivated again. It is planned to replant trees in the tailings area.
Reminder: "Nazik" tailing dump was recultivated in 2013, trees were planted in the area. However, the works were ineffective. Until then, this tailing dump was conserved twice, the first time in 1988, the second time in 2010.
On April 5, 2023, the first public discussion on the preliminary assessment of the environmental impact of the closed "Nazik" tailing dump reclamation project in Lori Region was held in the Alaverdi municipal hall.
The environmental impact assessment of "Nazik" tailing dump reclamation project is carried out by "ATEMS Solutions" company.
"Geospace" LLC became the winner in the competition for the development of design and estimate documents for "Nazik" closed tailing dump.
