In the frames of the agreement concluded between “ACP” Company and “Alaverdi Medical Center” CJSC, on 7-12 June 2010 the Center medical staff conducted the medical checkup of Alaverdi “Armenian Copper Program” CJSC Copper Smelting Plant workers where 236 out of 246 recorded workers were checked.
The checkup execution order has 116 patients recorded: 57 people with inner organ diseases, 14- nervous system diseases, 12- skin diseases, 19 – eye diseases and 14 – nose-throat-ear diseases. The medical committee has detected 42 people with cardiovascular diseases who should be paid more attention, and out of them 36 work at the metallurgical workshop.
The committee with its final act suggested the company to make changes of working places for those employees who have contradictory diseases, in case of appropriate instruction also resort treatment and other measures, which were left only as suggestions.
