Recently environmentalists have a document in their hands which says still one year ago the project worked out by “Lernayin Harstutyun” LLC on gold recovery factory has passed expert assessment, while the owners have foreseen to construct a gold recovery factory and tailing dump in “Hrazdan” industrial zone which is 5 k far from Hrazdan Town.
Environmentalist Hakob Gabrielyan has applied to the management of that company where he was informed still in 2010 the administrative building for the factory was built, while this year they plan to build the tailing dump of the factory.
“I even got surprised that the expert assessment has already been implemented, while there has been no public awareness. While today the buildings for the factory are already standing,” said the environmentalist and added this factory intends to recover gold from Meghradzor ore, which is currently implemented in Ararat Town.
