“Sagamar” CJSC intends to expand Armanis gold-polymetallic mine in Lori Region by another 70 ha for open pit mining, as Stepanavan Aarhus Center Coordinator Manya Meliqjanyan informed EcoLur.
The company informed about its intention at the public discussion held in Armanis on 23 February. What about environmental impact, the company representative noted they are committed to minimize the environmental impact by using up-to-date equipment.
Under the official website of “Global Metals (Arm) Limited”, the gold concentration in Armanis mine is 0.9 g/t, while silver concentration is 10 grams per ton.
