The Syunyats Yerkir
Qajaran villagers, as well Qajaran residents living in the different regions of Armenia and the world are fairly concerned with the Armenian Government decision № 627 dated on 28 April which says that 181,7 ha territory belonging to Qajaran Village (under Village Head it also includes the territory of the village cemetery) was given to Qajaran Combine. The Armenian President, PM and Speaker haven’t replied to the application signed by 600 people (31.05.2011). Village Head Rafik Atayan has already received the reply to the letter sent on May 4 2011 signed by Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan. A. Movsisyan’s reply addressed to Armenian Deputy PM and Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan is published on page 7 of the Syunyats Yerkir newspaper.
Drilling machines are already set up in the village territory, though any land area acceptance or transfer hasn’t been conducted with Village Municipality.
