RA Security Council Secretary: Besides USA and Armenia, Armenia Received Collaboration Proposals Also from South Korea and France

In addition to the USA and Russia, Armenia also received proposals for nuclear cooperation from South Korea and France, as it was stated by the Secretary of RA Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, in his interview with the "Voice of America" media.

The proposals are related to building a new nuclear power plant or modernizing an existing nuclear power plant. According to Armen Grigoryan, Armenia is intensively discussing the direction of making a final decision.

"Yerevan is free to cooperate with all parties, and Yerevan continues internal and external discussions. This is a very good opportunity in the context of expanding our cooperation with different countries," Armen Grigoryan said.

In response to the question whether Armenia considers these proposals in the context of reducing energy independence from Russia, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia answered: "We are discussing these proposals in a completely different context. We are discussing from the point of view of Armenia's interests, benefits and opportunities."
