At the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP), the modernization and functionality expansion of the full-scale training facility are underway. As we learn from the official website of the Armenian Atomic Power Plant, the project is implemented with the participation of the American "WSC, lnc." Company and Armenian "ARMATOM Research Institute" and "Galaktika" companies.
Accordingly, the training facility equipped with a new software base, new generation computers and a server corresponds to the systems and equipment of power unit #2 of the NPP and provides simulation of all operation modes on a real time scale due to this modernization.
In August 2024, it is planned to carry out complex tests with the entire configuration of the training facility to put it into operation.
