Waste sorting bins were installed in Ajapnyak-Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan on December 8, as Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan posted on his Facebook page, emphasizing that this process pursues several important goals, from environmental ones to certain economic results.
"Landscape Gardening and Environmental Protection" Community Non-Profit Organization (NPO) has installed three types of waste collection bins in 16 points of the mentioned administrative districts. Out of these, yellow is designed for paper and cardboard, whereas blue one is meant for plastic, and small gray/black ones are for glass.
