On January 18, 2021, RA President Armen Sargsyan, based on the proposal by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, appointed Anahit Avanesyan to the office of Minister of Health under decree NH-2-A. Prior to that, she held the position of Deputy Health Minister. Arsen Torosyan was dismissed from the office of Health Minister by the President’s Decree NH-1-A. Under Prime Minister's decision 34A dated on January 18, 2021, Torosyan was appointed as Head of Staff of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
