A state-of-the-art meteorological station for operation in the south of Armenia has been obtained from "Vaisala" organization, a leader in the field of meteorology, as RA Environment Ministry informs.
The information received from the mentioned station will be used for the needs of both "Zangezur" Biosphere Reserve SNCO and "Hydrometereology and Monitoring Center" SNCO. There is no such station providing such accurate data on weather conditions in Armenia.
RA Environment Minister Romanos Petrosyan was informed about the possibilities of the new station by Tatul Hayrapetyan, Acting Director of the center, during his visit to "Zvartnots Aeronautical Center" CJSC.
