In 2021, the volume of investments in the construction of solar stations in RA Aragatsotn region reached 15 billion 200 thousand AMD, as RA Aragatsotn Regional Administration informs.
Solar photovoltaic power plants with a capacity of 90.1 MW have been built in different settlements of Ashtarak, Talin, Katnaghbyur and Arevut communities. As a result, the volume of investments in this sphere reached 15 billion 200 thousand AMD in 2021 instead of the planned 11 billion 650 thousand AMD. The mentioned investments were made by 6 LLCs.
"It should be added that an agreement has been reached between the Armenian government and Arabic “Mazdar” company to build a 200-megawatt solar power plant in Talin community, which envisages an investment of about $ 320 million," the regional administration said.
