The Government of the Republic of Armenia has established a procedure for issuing licenses for the export of copper concentrate, molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum products to third countries. The decision was reached by the executive at the meeting dated on March 3. The decision is based on the fact that in recent years there has been an increase in the exchange prices of non-ferrous metals in the world market, which creates favorable conditions for the growth of revenues of the Armenian metal mining sector and the further development of the sector.
The licenses will be issued by RA Economy Ministry. The quantity of goods to be exported shall be indicated in the license, and the applicant may export it in separate batches within the period specified in the license, completing the limit specified in the license. The export of small quantities of products for laboratory tests will be carried out without a license.
