On April 20, Yuri Hovhannisyan, a prominent scientist, physicist, Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, laureate of UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev International Prize, a foreign member of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, was the guest of honor at Botany Institute of NAS RA.
Yuri Hovhannisyan got acquainted with the rich and diverse plant collections of the Botanical Garden.
The guests visited Eco-epicenter of Botany Institute, got acquainted with the interactive exhibition and collection of living plants. "I am delighted that there is such a unique corner in Armenia, Yerevan. I am impressed with the work carried out by botanists and scientists, which is based on enthusiasm," Yuri Hovhannisyan said.
