New Procedure Set for Entrance of Visitors to Norashen Sanctuary and Reserve Area

A new order of entry for visitors to the territory of Norashen reserve and sanctuary of "Sevan National Park" SNCO has been established, it will be with fixed hours and entrance fee, as Ministry of Environment informs.

"Dear citizens, we would like to inform you that from now on there will be a new order for citizens to visit the territory of Norashen reserve and the reserve of "Sevan" National Park. Access is allowed on all days of the week for a maximum of 3 hours, from 10:00 to 18:00 with passes issued by "Sevan National Park" SNCO and under the supervision of inspectors.

No more than 30 people can enter the area at the same time.

IT IS PROHIBITED:

- access to bird nesting grounds (except for scientific studies);

- collection of bird eggs;

- disturbing the birds with noise and other disturbing activities (sound signals, shots, etc.);

- staying outside the routes defined for informative tourism;

- contamination of the territory with household, industrial and chemical waste;

- lighting bonfires and other incendiary activities;

- damage to the boundary posts, information signs, fences and signs of the reserve.

IT IS PROHIBITED in the water area of ​​the reserve and sanctuary:

- the use of water resources through water systems and any activity that violates the water regime;

- fishing, hunting, hunting of crabs and other aquatic animals;

- the entry of motorized water vehicles into the water area of ​​the reserve up to 300 m from the shore, except for the cases necessary for the protection of the reserve or sanctuary;

- pollution of the water area.

1500 AMD per visitor for RA citizens and 3000 AMD for foreign citizens.

You can pay the amount to the account number of "Sevan National Park" SNCO 900018002890 or pay at the checkpoint to an employee of "Sevan National Park" SNCO and receive a cash register receipt.

The money generated as a result of the visits will be directed to the protection of the reserve and the sanctuary," the ministry said in its statement.
