Chief accountant A.S. at"Jrar" CJSC with 100% state share operating under RAMinistry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure transferred a total of 254,066,540 AMD from the accounts belonging to the company to his personal bank accounts during 2017-2022 as repayment of tax obligations to the RA state budget, as RA State Control Service informs. According to the official press release, after the incident was revealed by the Service, 37.9 million AMD were returned.
RA Investigative Committee initiated a criminal proceeding under Article 256, Part 3 of RA Criminal Code, that is, large-scale embezzlement of entrusted property.
