On March 9, 2023, Environment Minister Hakob Simidyan received Ajay Bara, Regional Director of the International European Program Offices of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Karen Manvelyan, Director of WWF Armenia.
The issue of ecological corridors was touched upon. Over the course of five years, works were carried out in 30 rural settlements of Ararat, Syunik and Vayots Dzor in 3 Regions focusing the attention of the local population on environmental issues. “Caucasian Red Deer Resettlement Program in Armenia" was also discussed.
