"K. Narek" JSC company carried out sand and gravel mixture extraction without permission in the agricultural land in the middle of the field road and the drainage stream in the administrative area of Sis village, Ararat Region, as State Revenue Committee disseminated a press release in this regard.
As a result of the measurement carried out by the employees of RA Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, it was found that a basin-like mountain mass with a volume of 14 thousand 689 cubic meters was displaced from the area with a total area of 6554 square meters. As a result of this activity, an area of 12 thousand 293 square meters was degraded. According to preliminary calculations, the damage caused to the state amounted to 36 million 763 thousand AMD.
