The length of Yerevan's inner-city sewage system makes up 1200 km, about 80% of which needs to be replaced today. In Yerevan, 11 km of sewer line and storm drain system were built and reconstructed in 2020-2022. According to the press release of Yerevan Municipality, this year it is planned to build and reconstruct a fourteen-kilometer-long sewer line and culvert in the capital.
Currently, the construction of a 4.6 km long sewage network in the Mushavan district of Erebuni with a population of around 1,600 is being carried out, for which RA government has allocated about 240 million AMD.
In Yerevan, the reconstruction of sewage systems is also underway in the city's largest building located at 23 Khaghagh Don Street.
