The current outcomes of EU4Sevan project were discussed at RA National Academy of Sciences.
UNDP Environment, Climate, Resilience Portfolio Team Leader Hovhannes Ghazaryan, noted, "The vision and strategy of Lake Sevan have been developed, we are already moving towards the law on Lake Sevan, which is key," he said.
EU4Sevan Project Team Leader Christian Henschel noted that the project is coming to an end. "Based on the outcomes, we have understood that the use of phosphorus in the area of the lake basin should be reduced."
Astghik Danielyan, Coordinator of UNDP Component of EU4Sevan project, said that the "Sevan" National Park management plan is currently being developed, with which the issues of demarcation and border adjustment of "Sevan" National Park will be resolved.
