10th World Water Forum Held in Indonesia. Environment Ministry
On May 18-25, the 10th World Water Forum was held in Indonesia, in which the delegation of Armenia, headed by Deputy Minister of Environment Tigran Gabrielyan, participated, as RA Ministry of Environment informs.
 
About 20,000 delegates from 160 countries participated in the forum.
 
Deputy Minister Tigran Gabrielyan participated in the ministerial meeting held on May 19-21 within the framework of the forum and made a speech. He presented the measures implemented by the Republic of Armenia in order to reduce the vulnerability of water resources as a result of climate change, aimed at the protection, effective management and restoration of water resources.
 
The deputy minister emphasized the participation of various representatives of the political, economic, and scientific spheres in the forum aimed at identifying and solving the urgent challenges that threaten the management of the water sector.
 
Within the framework of the meeting, the ministerial declaration entitled "Water for Common Prosperity" was adopted.
