This year, for the first time in Yerevan, tree planting has started since the winter month. the planting of evergreen trees was advisable in cold weather. About 250 mature tree species were planted in Yerevan, mainly pines and first, as Yerevan Municipality informs.
According to official information, during the replacement of trees nearing the end of viability, a total of 129 mature trees will be planted on Tumanyan Street instead of 80 trees of the mulberry type. "95 10-year-old trees (Juda tree) have already been planted, 30 trees have been preserved, and there is no danger of them falling, 34 plots will be opened, where archvans will also be planted. The viability-lost and deformed small-leaved leaves are being replaced by European archvans, which are more adapted to the urban environment. 10-year-old trees will form dense foliage in the coming years, shade the street and contribute to improving air quality".
