

Veolia Water CJSC has issued a statement regarding elevated mercury levels in the water in Tsav settlement in Syunik Region.
The statement says: “Tsav settlement in Syunik Region is not serviced by Veolia Water CJSC. Therefore, issues related to the supply of drinking water fall outside the scope of the company’s responsibility.”
Reminder: National Center for Disease Control and Prevention SNCO of RA Health Ministry collected water samples in Tsav and recorded mercury levels exceeding the maximum permissible limit.
Until water quality is restored, the Health Ministry urges Tsav residents to refrain from using the water for drinking and household purposes.
