The Government of Armenia has issued a number of decrees in environmental sphere. One of the decrees approves the charter of Environmental Program Implementation Office of Nature Protection Ministry of Armenia. The other decree determines and specifies borders and plan of “Goravan Sands” of Khosrov reserve. Another two decrees refer to changes in community land status. A small hydropower plant will be constructed in Meghradzor Village, Kotayk Region, while sand will be mined in Noramarg Village, Ararat Region.
