The Armenian Government will reject ‘Hydrocorporation’ CJSC to postpone VAT tax calculated for imported goods exceeding 300 million AMD for three years. The draft decision is displayed on the official website of the Armenian Government. The document rationale says, “‘Hydrocorporation’ CJSC was founded in 2005, under the certificate the company submitted it plans to construct Argitchi SHPP on the Argitchi River. In the frames of the project the company intends to purchase and to import from Turkey GRP pipes casting 962.5 million AMD. The company plans to put the SHPP into service in 2014 producing electricity costing around 568.9 million AMD and consequently provide 17 working places with average salary of 35,700 AMD. …Guided by the requirements of the Armenian Government resolution N1119-N dated on 4 August 2011 the total points of the project submitted by the company made up 25.3, and it was issued a negative opinion in line with the resolution mentioned.”
