From 21.07.2014 to 25.07.2014 the State Environmental Inspection detected violations during inspections it carried out, which resulted in drawing up 21 decisions on administrative fines in the amount of 1.55 million AMD, while the total damage caused to environmental was estimated in the amount of 1.66 million AMD.
The sanctions imposed by the State Environmental Inspection results in 1.85 million AMD paid to the state budget, as the official website of Nature Protection Ministry informs.
As a result of the investigation of four cases of illegal tree felling in territorial division of Lori Region, administrative fines of 150,000 AMD were imposed on three natural entities, while the damage caused to nature was estimated in the amount of 213,000 AMD.
Territorial division of Lori Region imposed two administrative fines of 100,000 AMD on two natural entities as result of investigating cases on illegal tree felling.
The Department for Environmental Control over Soil detected violations among the operations of two business entities and imposed two administrative fines in the amount of 300,000 AMD, while the damage caused to environment was calculated in the amount of 1.3 million AMD.
