The examinations at “Dundee Precious Metals Kapan” CJSC resulted in recorded additional tax obligations of 3, 809,000,000 AMD (or around 9.5 million AMD). The company has paid taxes of 5.5 billion AMD during the last year and just one examination was enough for the tax bodies to detect the hidden tax of 3.8 billion AMD.
“Dundee Precious Metals Kapan” CJSC Financial Director Norayr Aghayan expressed his concerns with this tax obligation, “Sure we won’t agree with this decision and we are going to appeal it in court. The case will be soon tried and you will be able to learn the details of the case. If the court confirms the need to pay the taxes, then “Dundee Precious Metals Kapan” CJSC will probably go bankrupt.”
