The Nature Protection Minister Aramayis Grigoryan received Ivan Volinkin, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russian Federation to Armenia and Andrey Sorokin – the Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the procedure of issuing a permit for Fioletovo gold mining project to “Grade Redmet” LLC and related problems.
Aramayis Grigoryan noted, “”Currently the environmental expertise of the project submitted by “Grade Redmet” LLC has been suspended. In the further actions, the opinion and position of the project affected will be taken into consideration in compliance with the Armenian legislation.
