The second tunnel of “Arpa-Sevan” aqueduct has sections, which need rehabilitation. On 25 June the executive decided that “Seed Agency” SNCO should allot 18 million AMD to the State Committee on Water Industry to fund drawing documentation for the rehabilitation of the tunnel. Still it’s unclear how much money will be needed for the rehabilitation of the damaged parts of the tunnel only.
Yet it’s known that from 1 September 2010 to 31 December 2017 capital construction works costing 11,768.546.320 AMD shall be implemented in the sections of Tunnel 2 of “Arpa-Sevan” aqueduct with a total length of 10.28 km. As of 1 January 2015, capital reconstruction works costing 8,928.845.48 AMD had already been implemented.
