Dust Concentration in Yerevan Air Exceeded Maximum Permissible Concentration

“Center for Monitoring of Environmental Impact” of RA Nature Protection Ministry has presented the first data of air basin examination in Armenia for 2017.

According to their examinations, the average monthly concentration of dust in the atmospheric air in Yerevan has exceeded the maximum permissible (MCP) concentration by 1.3 times. In Gyumri the average monthly concentration of carbon dioxide has exceeded the MPC by 1.8 times, in Vanadzor it was by 1.6 times, while in Alaverdi it was in 2.2 times.

According to another certificate issued by this organization, the average monthly concentrations of other substances in the atmospheric air haven’t exceeded relevant MPCs.

Dust, carbon dioxide and nitrogen dioxide in Ararat Town and carbon dioxide and nitrogen dioxide observations in Charentsavan and Martuni haven’t any excess in MPC recorded.
