Armenia, which persistently follows the way of mining industry, can soon be called not the land of stones, but the land of tails, as the tails of many mines developed in the country are left open contaminating environment.
The mining industry exposes the whole Syunik Region. Its residents have many times voiced the problems generated because of the mine development. The reply is one: developing the economy.
