Lake Sevan Level Lower by 5 Cm As Compared with Last Year

As of July 10, the level of Lake Sevan is 5 cm lower than the same day last year. It is 1900.69 m, last year, on the same day, the level of the lake was 1900.74 m. 133,107 million cubic meters of water flowed into the lake through Arpa-Sevan tunnel this year. 161,783 million cubic meters of water have already been released from the lake for irrigation. We are already approaching the maximum limit of 170 million cubic meters of water intake provided by law. Reminder: on August 6, the Armenian government decided to allow up to 75 million cubic meters of additional water intake from Lake Sevan.
