16 Illegal Crawfish Hunters Brought and Confiscated from Lake Sevan.
On October 3, 2022, 16 illegal crawfish hunters were taken out of Lake Sevan and confiscated as a result of control measures carried out by the ad hoc squad of "Sevan" National Park, as RA Environment Ministry informs.
According to the official announcement, by RA Government resolution, only industrial hunting of whitefish is allowed in Lake Sevan and the permissible quantities of crawfish hunting are not laid down. The hunting tools taken out of the lake are on the list of prohibited hunting tools.
