The export of whitefish from the territory of Armenia was banned for a period of 6 months. The decision to this effect was adopted by the executive at the government meeting on December 22, 2022.
According to the adoption of the rationale, the state of ecological balance of Lake Sevan, the protection of the biodiversity of the ecosystems of the lake and its catchment basin and the sustainable use of biological resources, the preservation of a stable mass of whitefish, and the implementation of productive hunting will be improved.
