Lake Sevan Has Positive Balance for First Time in Four Years
For the first time in the last 4 years, Lake Sevan has a positive balance.
 
As of May 23, the level of the lake made up 1900.50m, being 5 centimeters higher than the level for May 23, 2023.
 
According to "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" of RA Ministry of Environment, the level of Lake Sevan was
 
· May 23, 2021: 1900.87 m
 
· 2022, May 23: 1900.64 m
 
· 2023, May 23: 1900.45 m
 
From the beginning of 2024, Arpa-Seva tunnel has aided flowing into Lake Sevan 10.375 million cubic meters of water.
