This year, the level of Lake Sevan reached its highest mark on July 8, measuring 1900.68 m. This mark remained for 8 days, after which the lake level began to decline. As of November 1, the lake level made up 1900.46 m, which is 22 cm higher than on the same day last year.
A water-rich year contributed to a reduced intake from Lake Sevan. Instead of the planned 170 million cubic meters, only 131.038 million cubic meters of water were taken from the lake.
The lake level needs to be raised to 1903.5 m by 2030.
