Vorotan-Sevan tunnel route coordinates and Lake Sevan drainage basin immediate impact zone have been specified, as the official website of the Armenian Government informs. The layer along the tunnel and horizontal layer of three thousand meters from the axis has been accepted as Lake Sevan drainage basin, where any activity directly or indirectly affect on the quantitative and qualitative indices of the water flowing into the lake. These amendments have been made in the new edition of Lake Sevan drainage basin mapping project approved by the Armenian Government on 11 December 2003, which was approved by the Armenian Government on 18 July 2013.
