Rules of Behaviour During Floods

Rescue Service of RA Ministry of Internal Affairs presents the necessary rules of behaviour in case of flooding.

What to do during a flood?

- Stay in shelters until appropriate instructions from the governing bodies.

- Keep the disaster pack away from getting wet.

- When crossing shallow places, wear sturdy waterproof shoes and use a walking stick.

- If you need help, beat an alarm signal (fire, shout, gunshot, flags, siren, etc.).

- Do not use food that has appeared in water.

- Before using communication systems, check the degree of their damage.

- Entrust the repair of communication systems to specialists.

- It is dangerous to stay in a house that is unsafe or does not inspire confidence.

- Do not enter flooded areas unnecessarily.
