Once Again “Argitchi” SHPP Pipes Spilled Out

On 13 May the pipes of “Argtichi” SHPP again spilled out, as Vardan Galstyan, a resident of Verin Getashen, Gegharkounik Region, is beating an alarm signal on Facebook. “It’s very difficult to bridle Argitchi River, it’s very cruel, the river remembers its riverbed,” he wrote.

In his conversation with EcoLur he said that the land areas of several villagers had been flooded, and the company itself incurred significant damage. You can watch the video uploaded by Vardan Galstyan at https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=556875487766337&set=vb.100003316729464&type=2&theater:

“Argtichi” SHPP is operated by “Hydrocorporation” LLC. Reminder: the first time the pipes were broken down on 18 July 2013, when water flooded the whole harvest of the potato, the second time it was on 10 September 2013, when the whole harvest of the barley was destroyed.
