The NGO network has disseminated a statement on persecuting the green activists in Russia. The statement says that Igor Golubenkon, the co-chairman of “For Support of Tamani” environmental group, and Assistant to Deputy in Temryunik Urban Council of Krasnodar Region, was exposed to attack on 24 February. Two unknown people brutally beat him saying the following words “Finish your environmental activities” and he had to go to hospital.
