Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan didn’t receive any documents and doesn’t feel fettered because of the report about crime filed by the civic society to the Public Prosecutor’s Office on 21 December. “We haven’t received any documents. Even of these documents are filed, then we will state our official position…we won’t be fettered to organize specialized hearings or to invite independent experts…” said the Minister at the press conference on 26 December. Reminder: the report about crime mentions about the Teghout project, where «Environmental Resource Management» (ERM) issued a special opinion about the project implemented by АСР Company (Armenian Cooper Program). According to this opinion, Teghout mine is developed not in accordance with the project of 2006, which underwent environmental expertise, but in accordance with the project of 2010, which didn’t undergo any environmental expertise.
