A database on the emergence and collection of solid household wastes will be established in Armenia, and all the existing landfill sites and dumps will be mapped: for this purpose, on 24 July a memorandum of understanding was signed between RA Ministry for Territorial Administration and Infrastructures and the American University of Armenia. The database will include geographical data about the landfill sites: the database and the maps are expected to be updated regularly – twice per year.
