It is envisaged to operate thermal neutralization plant for industrial waste in the territory of Nairit plant located in Shengavit Administrative District of Yerevan.
Eco Group International LLC has submitted to the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia an application for preliminary environmental impact assessment of the planned activities to be held on February 21 at 12:00 pm at 70/1 Bagratunyants Street, Yerevan.
Waste neutralization plant of UM 1A8 - A10 type ("UMKAS" commercial type) from Eco Energy Company (RF, Yakutsk) has been selected for waste disposal. Wastes subject to disposal in Nairit are:
1. Monovinacetylene - 350 t
2. Lacquer Ethinol - 1200 t
The environmental impacts of the activities presented are mainly related to the transportation of waste and the interaction of a thermal neutralization facility with waste, the incineration of waste and the operation of a thermal neutralization facility.
In order to reduce atmospheric pollution it is planned to install a smoke cleaning facility, conduct regular monitoring of the air basin to measure the content of 6 solid particles /ash/ carbon, nitrogen and sulfur oxides in the air basin.
