Four-year solid domestic waste management strategies of Vanadzor and Gyumri Communities were developed in 2022 within the framework of "Alliance for Better City Governance" (ABC.GoV) EU program. Within the framework of this project, it is planned to install plastic processing lines in both communities.
Vanadzor and Gyumri municipalities have already received 1,260 trash cans, out of which 630 are intended for household waste and 630 for plastic waste. 660 trash cans are planned for Vanadzor and 600 for Gyumri community, as Tatevik Baghramyan, visibility specialist of "Alliance for Sustainable and Green Management" EU project, informed EcoLur.
